⚠️ Display notice

Due to the wide variety of different scale layouts, the original dial shown is provided solely for orientation during the ordering process and is not part of the offer.
It shows the original design of the respective manufacturer and does not originate from Heiler-Tachodesign. The example images featuring our dials exclusively show products manufactured by us. Brand logos are generally not printed.

🛠️ Option: 1.5 mm polycarbonate

The flat (non-domed) 1.5 mm thick polycarbonate dial is produced using high-quality UV-resistant direct printing (no foil).
The surface matches the character of the original dial and features a satin-matte finish. The material is dimensionally stable and heat-resistant.
The dial is delivered fully die-cut and ready for immediate installation. The original dial is replaced by our polycarbonate dial.

🛠️ Option: 0.8 mm aluminium

Flat, not concave or 3D-domed, precisely laser-cut and hand-painted.
UV-resistant multi-layer direct printing – no foil.
Dimensionally stable, heat-resistant and fully die-cut. Ready for immediate installation and replaces the original dial.
🏭 The aluminium blanks are manufactured by an external partner. This extends the standard delivery time by 14 working days.

🛠️📝 Restoration service

The customer sends us the original dial(s) – we carry out the complete restoration.
The entire process is handled by us: the dial is carefully sanded, 🎨 repainted, and all numbers and scales are subsequently reprinted.

🎨 RAL colours & coating

Coating with UV-resistant paints applied via precise direct application. All RAL colour tones are reproduced accurately. A RAL colour fan is available under item 10287.

📏 Numbers & scaling

Numbers and scales are applied precisely and wipe-resistant using high-resolution UV direct printing.

🛠️📝 Option: customer sends original dial(s)

After prior arrangement, the customer sends in only the removed original dials – the complete instrument must not be sent.
Before submission, the dials must be completely sanded down or chemically stripped.
All protruding parts in the area to be printed must be removed or bent accordingly.
The edges of the dials for speedometer, tachometer, clock, oil, temperature/fuel, as well as any four small auxiliary scales, must not exceed 3 mm.
Accordingly, the edges must be sanded down in advance.
Painting of the dials is carried out by the customer. Heiler-Tachodesign prints exclusively scales and numbers.
‼️ Severely rusted parts will not be processed and will be returned at the customer’s expense.
Meaningful photos of the dials must be provided in advance.

Shipping is carried out exclusively insured and by personal handover.
To be enclosed:
– Order / order number
– Model, model designation, year of manufacture

🧩🔧 Installation notes

As we receive only removed dials and not the complete instrument, we provide no installation instructions.
For replacement, the housing and needles must be removed. These tasks should be carried out by a qualified specialist workshop.
We are a pure printing and manufacturing company and assume no liability for installation errors, damage, or malfunctions.

📝🎨 Custom-made items & returns

Our products are not stock items. Each dial is manufactured individually according to the selected options; therefore, returns are excluded.
Modified variants (changes to numbers, scales, or colours) are carried out at the customer’s own risk.
For optimal readability, we recommend original colour tones or neutral white illumination.

If your original speedometer is not shown, we need the original templates.
It’s essential to get all original templates from you. (disc, rev meter, temperature display, fuel indicator etc.)
!!Attention!! Only send the disc/s not the whole speedometer. If it’s a MPH-speedometer, we will rescale them in km/h.
The easiest way is to send us the discs by post. You can find the address in the company Information.

You can also scan the original discs and send them to us by mail. Scan it with photoshop or the free program i_view32.
If the disc is too large for your scanner, then please scan the disc once from the left and once from the right. We reassemble the disc on the computer. Please also scan the back.
Please scan everything with 300 DPI and save it as JEPG. (with photoshop save as PSD)
Don’t change anything in adjustment (i_view32). This is the only way we will get the original size of the speedometer and it’s discs. For all other programs, the size is displayed incorrectly.
