Attention!
As there are many different scales, the original speedometer disc shown is only for orientation during the ordering process.
It is not part of the offer. This is an original from the respective manufacturer and is not made by Heiler-Tachodesign.
Only the example photo / example image shown are speedometer discs made by Heiler-Tachodesign, which can be ordered in our shop.

Variant: 0,6 mm Aluminium
This 0.6 mm thick flat (not curved) aluminum disc is printed directly with UV-resistant colors in a highly complex process. (no foil)
The surface corresponds approximately to the original disc (silk matt). The disc is dimensionally stable and heat resistant.
The pane is completely punched out and ready for installation. Our disc will be exchanged for the original disc.

Variant 1.5 mm polycarbonate
This 1.5 mm thick, flat (not curved) plastic pane is printed directly with UV-resistant colors (no foil) in a highly complex process.
The surface corresponds approximately to the original speedometer disc (silk matt). The disc is dimensionally stable and heat-resistant.
It is completely punched out and therefore ready for installation. Your original screen will be exchanged for our screen.

Option: Customer sends us the original disc(s) and we take care of the complete restoration
The customer sends us the original disc by post to our address (see imprint).
Do not send us the complete instrument(s), just the disc(s) to be printed.
We remove the old paint, numbers, scale and then paint the disc in the desired color.
(ATTENTION!! There may be color differences from your other original Instruments)
We then print the numbers and scale on the disc.

Variant: The customer sends us the original disc(s) and does the preparatory work themselves.
The customer sends us the original disc(s) by post to our address (see imprint). Do not send us the complete instrument(s), just the disc(s) to be printed.
The customer must sand or strip the disc themselves and paint it in the desired color themselves.
Everything that is 3mm above the speedometer dial, e.g. pointer stop, brackets or elevations, must be removed. Our printer has a laser that looks for the highest point.
The print head must be able to move freely over the area to be printed.
We then only print the numbers and scale on the disc.

Please take some good photos of your original windshield before sending.

Please always send the package insured and by direct delivery.
Please use a packaging size that does not fit through a letter slot, so the postman has to hand the package over to us personally.
Please enclose the following information in the package: - printed order or order number - information about the car: model, model name, year of manufacture
!!ATTENTION!! - We do not process rusty or bent parts, we will send these back at your expense. If you are not sure, just ask beforehand.

The disc(s) are painted directly with UV-resistant colors, which is very complex. The selected RAL colors are applied to the disc(s).
RAL colors are standardized colors worldwide. You can buy a RAL color chart under item number 10287. The numbers and scale are printed with UV-resistant Colors.

MPH → Km/h
This speedometer disc (for US/UK model) was converted and rescaled from an original speedometer disc to the unit of measurement Km/h.
The conversion and rescale guarantees an exact display of the speedometer in Km/h. Please make sure to check the scale of your original MPH disc(s) with the disc(s) shown above.
We use these as a template. Only then can a perfect fit be guaranteed. If you are unsure, please send us a photo of your speedometer by email before purchasing
(on which everything can be clearly seen) and the data such as model, model name, year of manufacture and diameter of the speedometer.

Since we only receive the removed speedometer dial(s) and not the complete speedometer from our customers, you will not receive any installation instructions from us!
When replacing the dial, the instrument must be opened and the pointer removed.
We recommend that you have the conversion carried out by a specialist workshop. We accept no liability for any damage.

We do not print any copyrighted brand logos, e.g. AMG, BRABUS, ///M, Porsche, Harley-Davidson, etc. If you are not sure, please ask first.

Custom-made items / returns:
These are not stock items - each order is made especially for you, taking into account your chosen options!
Please note that goods made to customer specifications cannot be exchanged. If you change the standard numbers/scales and/or color(s) when purchasing an item, this is at your own risk.
We assume that the customer prepares the instrument in such a way that the disc assembled here then works. E.g. stronger lighting, etc.
We are not liable for poor or no function. For colored fluoroscopy, we always recommend colored lighting that matches the original or neutral white lighting.

If your original speedometer is not shown, we need the original templates.
It’s essential to get all original templates from you. (disc, rev meter, temperature display, fuel indicator etc.)
!!Attention!! Only send the disc/s not the whole speedometer. If it’s a MPH-speedometer, we will rescale them in km/h.
The easiest way is to send us the discs by post. You can find the address in the company Information.

You can also scan the original discs and send them to us by mail. Scan it with photoshop or the free program i_view32.
If the disc is too large for your scanner, then please scan the disc once from the left and once from the right. We reassemble the disc on the computer. Please also scan the back.
Please scan everything with 300 DPI and save it as JEPG. (with photoshop save as PSD)
Don’t change anything in adjustment (i_view32). This is the only way we will get the original size of the speedometer and it’s discs. For all other programs, the size is displayed incorrectly.
