Due to the many different scale versions, the displayed original dial is used solely for orientation during the ordering process and is not part of the offer. It shows the original design of the respective manufacturer and does not come from Heiler-Tachodesign. The sample images with our dials show exclusively products manufactured by us. 📄🛠️ Version: Adhesive Insert

This insert consists of a 0.4 mm plastic plate with a rear 3M adhesive surface. The satin-matte finish matches the original dial surface. Precisely cut and produced with UV-resistant direct printing. Mounted by applying it onto the existing dial. Dimensionally stable, temperature-resistant, and colourfast with high fitting accuracy based on original parts.

🛠️ Version: 1.5 mm Polycarbonate

The 1.5 mm flat (non-curved) polycarbonate dial is also produced using high-quality direct printing with UV-resistant inks (no foil). The surface resembles the original dial with a satin-matte structure. The material is dimensionally stable and heat-resistant. Delivered fully punched and ready for installation. The original dial is replaced with our polycarbonate dial.

🪙🛠️ Version: Aluminium

Precisely laser-cut, form-pressed, and hand-painted. UV-resistant multi-layer direct print – no foil. Heat-resistant, dimensionally stable, fully punched, and ready to install. Replaces the original dial.

🛠️ Restoration Service

The customer sends us the original dial(s) – we perform the complete restoration.
We handle the entire process: the dial is carefully sanded, 🎨 repainted, and then all numbers and scales are freshly reprinted.

🎨 RAL Colours & Painting

Painting with UV-resistant inks applied via precise direct printing. All RAL colour tones are reproduced accurately. A RAL fan deck is available under item 10287.

📏 Numbers & Scaling

Numbers and scales are applied precisely and smudge-proof using high-resolution UV direct printing.

📦📝 Version: Customer Sends Original Dial(s)

The customer sends only the removed original dial(s) – never the complete instrument. Dials must be pre-sanded / stripped and painted by the customer. Heiler-Tachodesign prints scales and numbers only.
Please provide clear reference photos beforehand.

Shipping must be insured and handed over personally.
Include:
– Order / order number
– Model, model designation, year
‼️ Heavily rusted parts cannot be processed and will be returned at the customer’s expense.

🔄📏 MPH → Km/h Conversion

This dial for US/UK vehicles has been professionally rescaled from an original MPH dial to kilometres per hour (Km/h). The conversion ensures a correct and precise Km/h display. This dial is intended solely for MPH-to-Km/h conversions and is not suitable for vehicles originally equipped with Km/h dials.

🧩🔧 Installation Notes

Because we receive only the removed dials and not the full instrument, we provide no installation instructions. Housing and needles must be removed for replacement — these steps should be performed by a qualified workshop. We are a printing and manufacturing company only and focus solely on production of the dials. We assume no liability for installation errors, damage, or functional issues.

📝🎨 Custom Work & Returns

Our products are not stock items. Each dial is individually produced according to the selected options. For this reason, returns are not possible. Modified versions (changes to numbers, scales, colours) are carried out at the customer’s own risk. We assume that the instrument is prepared correctly for installation. We do not accept liability for insufficient or missing functionality. For coloured illumination, we recommend original colour tones or neutral white lighting to ensure optimal readability.

If your original speedometer is not shown, we need the original templates.
It’s essential to get all original templates from you. (disc, rev meter, temperature display, fuel indicator etc.)
!!Attention!! Only send the disc/s not the whole speedometer. If it’s a MPH-speedometer, we will rescale them in km/h.
The easiest way is to send us the discs by post. You can find the address in the company Information.

You can also scan the original discs and send them to us by mail. Scan it with photoshop or the free program i_view32.
If the disc is too large for your scanner, then please scan the disc once from the left and once from the right. We reassemble the disc on the computer. Please also scan the back.
Please scan everything with 300 DPI and save it as JEPG. (with photoshop save as PSD)
Don’t change anything in adjustment (i_view32). This is the only way we will get the original size of the speedometer and it’s discs. For all other programs, the size is displayed incorrectly.
